Sometimes, you go to Disneyland just for the day because you can.
It's really not that hard.
Your sister-in-law invites you to come with with her/her family, and then you buy tickets to fly to southern California after work on Tuesday, and fly back to northern California before work on Thursday. And on Wednesday, you go to Disneyland....
with your glam squad
and you older brother,
and of course your sister-in-law who you apparently don't take any one on one pictures with.
You get to see some of the fall decorations, enjoy the low crowds during the off season,
and take main street by storm.
You ride all the classic rides with your niece and nephew
and take pictures with them when they aren't ready for it.
you ride solo and hit up some 40" or taller rides with some new friends (*see back of the log). Shout out to the Indiana Jones workers who let people go in the single rider line when they aren't suppose to.
You also are a good person, so you decided to let your brother and sister-in-law have a break from the kids and go on some rides alone together. You then are left alone in Disneyland with 3 children and start to pray that none of them run away or start to scream cry during a Pixar short movie about baby birds. At least no one runs away.
During your babysitting adventure you manage to snag a picture with a princess, which will make you feel pretty good about your abilities in childcare.
Contrary to some photographical evidence-she loves it so much, you ride it two more times.
You continue your self/life reflection journey as you ride another ride solo.
Your score reconfirms that although you might not have a spouse to fill that spot next to you, you are currently crushing life.
While everyone else rides Autotopia, you take your too-short-to-ride niece for a walk around the park.
Why buy ears when you can take a picture, and them put them back?
Autotopia is a waste of a ride,
so you don't mind skipping it one bit. Plus, your niece is a dream.
Then you simply leave the park when it closes, hit up Wendy's en route to the hotel, devour a frosty and fries like you haven't since your teenage years, and sleep till your flight the next morning.
Like I said, it's really not that hard.
