MARCHing Along

Can you believe it. Another month has come and gone, and here are some other things that have come and gone as well.

1. Another season of the Bachelor. Nathan, Sarah, Matt, Madi, and I all got into the season and below is a picture of us having a face time session to discuss one of the episodes. There is always so much to unpack and predict-it's much more fun to do it with other people. Apologies to Nathan, he's not looking too flattering in this pic. I'm glad these guys would wait for 11pm MST to chat about it with me over in PST.

There was also a big group of girls from the ward who watched every episode together, Monday nights seem so boring now. But we are all just glad that Colton and Cassie found love.

2. A trip to the ER.

Brittany sprained her ankle pretty dang badly at Volleyball one night, and the swelling was a sight to see. So the next day, I took her to the ER to get it checked out.
A few x-rays, foot braces, and doctor convo's later, and we were out of there.

We were glad there was a "fast pass" for sprained ankle injuries.

3. Another trip home to Utah. One particular weekend was just jammed packed with activities that I had to come home for it. They included:

a best friend's baby shower

Grandpa Jacksons birthday dinner (at the Golden Corral)

Tate's friend birthday party

where covey watched and ate at his leisure

and Mckay joined in on the fun

Watching Captain Marvel with Nathan and Sarah
Seeing some extended family at Heathers house

Very and Nancy's wedding up in Salt Lake,

and Grace Allen's mission farewell.
The weekend was jammed packed and I loved it all.

4. A craft night with Tiffany. When Tiffany and I moved here (more than two years ago) we had grand plans on decorating our shared room. Spoiler alert, it never happened. Something we thought we would do was a DIY string art project, featuring our home states. In March, we finally got around to it.
Tiffany is not from California, but now that she shares her house with Matt, she decided California was a little more relevant for them.

I finished my Utah while Tiffanys was putting in her first nails.

4. Another March Madness. Some of the games were in the San Jose SAP center, so we went to a double feature one Friday night. We got to watch Liberty upset Mississippi state, as well as a man get kicked out for pouring beer all over himself while featured on the big screen. What a night.

 5. Another hike in the redwoods:

where I finally saw the infamous banana slug.

6. And finally, a 5 hour power outage in our neighborhood. It was dark, no one was out in the streets, and it felt very eerie. Thank goodness for candles and flashlights.
